Palm Oil Producers Lobby to Cut Nigeria’s $600m Per Year Import Dependence

By Adedapo Adesanya  The National Palm Produce Association of Nigeria (NPPAN) is lobbying to cut down the $600 million the country spends annually to import the product. Mr Alphonsus Inyang, National President of the association,  in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Abuja, stated the expenses are unhealthy for national development.
